After 2 years of hard work behind the scene, we need one last effort and support to make the NWN Community Bank a reality. Our club (and local community) can really benefit from the success of the NWN Community Bank.
If we do not get a positive result from the public meeting on the 24th March ’14 the project will be terminated.
Letter from steering committee………..
Dear Community Bank® Supporter
BANK ACCOUNTS CAN BE OPENED – BUSINESS CAN BE TRANSACTED NOW
The time has come when we need to demonstrate that, as a community, we deserve to have a Community Bank® in our district.
Our Targets.
• We need $10 million worth of banking business on our books (we are well short of that target).
• We need ten committed people for our future board.
• We need $170,000 in pledges to reach our $850,000 target.
What Can You Do?
• Open an account now. Any Bendigo Bank can open an account for you. Just quote our Code Number 72134 and advise the staff that the account is to be ‘domiciled’ (registered) under the Narre Warren North Community Bank® Project.
• Join our steering committee. This offers useful experience for prospective board members.
• Increase you pledge. With an average increase of just $500 per person we will exceed our pledge target. To increase your pledge email the increased amount to:
narrenorth.communitybank@gmail.comCommunity banking is not just about banking, it is also about making communities prosperous, strong and sustainable. There are now 300 Community Bank® branches across the nation that in total, have ploughed back more than $100 million into communities.
There is no shortage of community groups and projects whose programs are limited by the availability of funds. Community Bank® branches help to address that need.
A Community Bank® branch which serves the Narre Warren North district is an opportunity for us to participate in this great community enterprise.
Thank you for your pledge of support. If you would like further information please contact me on 0400 118 834 or one of the committee members listed below.
An important meeting for everyone who has made a pledge and for the public is to be held at 7.30 p.m. on Monday, 24th March, at the Narre Warren North Public Hall. It would be great if you could make it.
